Hebei Puyang Iron and Steel Co Ltd (河北普阳钢铁有限公司), also known as Hebei Puyang Metallurgical Casting Co., Ltd.; Hebei Xinwu'an Iron and Steel Group Puyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.; Hebei Puyang Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Handan, Hebei, China.

Background

In 2020, it started to build 1 BF (1x1580m3), BOF (1x140-tonne), producing 1.37 million tons of molten iron and 1.5167 million tons of crude steel.[1][2][3]

In December 2021, the company will start to build a blast furnace (1x1580m3), a BOF (1x120-tonne) and an electric arc furnace (100-tonne) with replacement of two 1050m3 blast furnace. It is planned to be put into operation in December 2023[4]
