The pipeline runs from Alpine Central Facility, North Slope, Alaska, to Central Processing Facility 2, North Slope, Alaska, where it connects with Kuparuk Oil Pipeline.[1]

Background
In 1996, the Alpine Field was discovered in North Slope, Alaska.[5]
In 2000, ConocoPhillips Alaska (then known as just Phillips Alaska), announced it had started transporting oil via the Alpine Pipeline. The pipeline connects to the Kuparuk Oil Pipeline, which brings the oil to the Trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline System.[5][1]
The Willow Sales Oil Pipeline will connect to the Alpine Oil Pipeline when it is complete in 2029.[6]
