Hebei Xinwu'an Iron and Steel Group Xinhui Metallurgy Co Ltd (河北新武安钢铁集团鑫汇冶金有限公司), also known as Wu'an Xinhui Metallurgical Industry Co., Ltd., is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Handan, Hebei, China.

Background

The company plans to withdraw from the existing long-process steel production capacity, including one 10m2 shaft furnace, two 130m2 sintering plants, one 1080m3 blast furnace and one 460m3 blast furnace, and the equivalent replacement of a new 110-ton electric arc furnace and one 100-ton electric arc furnace.[1][2] The project started in 2020, and in December 2021, the main part of the first phase of the electric furnace was completed.[3][4]

In November 2021, the two Blast Furnaces(460m3, 1080m3) and one basic oxygen furnace(55-tonne) were removed.[5]
