HBIS GROUP Serbia Iron & Steel plant Belgrade, also known as HBIS Smederevo steel plant, Smederevo Ironworks Ltd., is a 2200 thousand tonnes per annum (TTPA) blast furnace (BF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) steel plant operating in Smederevo, Podunavlje, Serbia.

Background
In August 2020, a protest was held by inhabitants of Smederevo, Serbia against the pollution from Hesteel Smederevo.[2]
