The power station includes a 36 MW coal-fired power unit in Hofu, Yamaguchi, Chugoku, Japan.[1][2][3]

The plant is also referred to as Hofu Daini power station and Hofu No. 2 power station. In some sources, the plant is referred to as having a 79.5 MW capacity given two smaller units.
