Lujiayao Coal Mine (山西朔州平鲁区芦家窑煤矿有限公司) is an underground coal mine located in Taocun Village, Taocun Township, Pinglu District, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province, China.[1]

Coal Mine Background

Lujiayao Coal Mine was built in 1981 and put into production in May 1986 with a 0.45 million tons/year design production capacity. It was undergone an upgrade transmission in 2007, with the design production capacity increased from 0.45 million tons/year to 0.9 million tons/year. The upgrade project started construction in September 2008. In September 2009, the mine's design production capacity expanded from 0.9 million tons/year to 1.5 million tons/year. The upgrade project passed the completion acceptance in October 2011.[2] As of the end of January 2021, the approved production capacity was 1.5 million tons/year.[3]
