Funding

MİMAG Energy is the energy generation division of a Turkish construction company. On its website the company states that since 2001 it has "gained the knowledge and experience to construct steam and/or electricity generation facilities on turnkey basis, including civil and erection works in addition to the supply of equipment which was the core business at the beginning. For the execution of turnkey contracts MİMAG Energy cooperates with MİMAG Construction and Trade Inc., if needed."[1]

Coal projects

MİMAG Energy was a member of the Ada Enerji consortium, which was led by GDF Suez and also included International Power. The consortium was seeking to build the proposed 1320 MW lignite fired Ada Yumurtalık power station.[2] Although the project appears shelved it still featured on the Mimag Enerji website as of 2018.
