Amerisur Binational Pipeline, also known as the Colombia–Ecuador Pipeline or in Spanish as the Oleoducto Binacional Amerisur (OBA), is an operating crude oil export pipeline running from Colombia into Ecuador.[1][2]

Location

The pipeline connects Platform 9 of the Platanillo oilfield block[3] in Colombia's Putumayo basin to the Victor Hugo Ruales (VHR) oilfield in Ecuador.[4] At the VHR station, the pipeline feeds into Ecuador's RODA Oil Pipeline Network, which in turn connects to the larger Ecuadorian pipeline system at Lago Agrio, supplying gas to Petroecuador's Balao export facility on the Pacific coast.[2]
