Weihuliang Coal Mine (神华新疆能源有限责任公司苇湖梁煤矿) is an underground coal mine located in Qidaowan Road, Shuimogou District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang, China.[1]

Coal Mine Background

Weihuliang Coal Mine belongs to Shenhua Xinjiang Energy Co., Ltd. It was built in 1958 and put into production in 1960, with a 0.3 million tons/year production capacity. The first expansion began in 1966 and was completed in December 1980, with a 0.75 million tons/year production capacity. Weihuliang Coal Mine was expanded again in 1988 and completed in 1995, with a 1.2 million tons/year production capacity.[2]As of the end of June 2020, the approved production capacity is 1.35 million tons/year.[3]
