Taimyr LNG Terminal (Russian: Таймыр СПГ, Восток газ) is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal proposed in Russia.

Background

In February 2021, this terminal was included in the government long-term LNG export development program.

In October 2023, Russian President V. Putin signed a law allowing export of LNG from certain Arctic fields which will affect about 36 Rosneft fields and may facilitate implementation of this project.

There have been no other recent development updates related to this project, but since its start year is between 2030-2035, it is still considered proposed.
