Background

In January 2023, Petrobras sold its stake of Albacora Leste Field to PetroRio, a subsidiary of PetroRio Jaguar Petróleo for $1.635 billion with an additional $292.7 million at the initial signing of the agreement in August 2022. Future payments are expected and contingent on Brent Crude prices. [7]
