Background
The project was included in the "Guangxi Special Plan for Natural Gas Storage Facilities Development (2019–2025)" released in October 2019, with a planned development period of 2022–2025.[1] However, it was not mentioned in the "Guangxi Energy Development 14th Five-Year Plan" published in September 2022, and no further updates have been identified. The project status is therefore inferred to be shelved.[5]
