Société National de Cimenterie Bisi Keda Cement Plant (مصنع سوناسيم للأسمنت باوري), also known as Baore Cement Plant, SONACIM, is an integrated cement plant operating in Bisi Keda, Mayo-Kebbi-Ouest, Chad.

Background

The Baoré Cement Plant opened in 2012, owned by SONACIM (Société Nationale de Ciment). It experienced several stoppages over the years, including from 2018 to 2020 and again in 2022. In 2023, it was announced that the plant would be privatized. As of December 31, 2025, the process of privatizing the plant to the Moroccan company CIMAF was ongoing, with labor disputes erupting around the announced firing of all workers.
