Background

The Burglengenfeld cement plant announced plans for modernization in 2015. These plans included installation of an IKN supplied and engineered pyro-processing line which can achieve production of 4000 tonnes per day. Additionally, in 2021, FCT Combustion provided a Turbu-Flex burner to improve combustion control increase the alternative fuel substitution rate.
