Background

The pipeline is owned by Gazprom. It was constructed in the 1970s, and significantly expanded gas transportation activity and Gazprom itself.[1]

According to the Russian media, an attempt to blow up the pipeline in the Samara Oblast was reported on July 11, 2023.[2]
