Background on Project
The power station consists of four units of 350 MW each (or 360 MW based on government sources), owned by Chiping Xinyuan Aluminum.[1][2]
Unit 1 went into operation in December 2011 and unit 2 in January 2012.[3] Unit 3 went into operation in June 2014,[4][5] and Unit 4 in September 2014.[6]
