Background
YPF Energía Eléctrica's Tucumán Power Station consists of three separate combined cycle power plants - San Miguel de Tucumán, Tucumán and El Bracho - with a combined generating capacity of 1302 MW.[11]
The newest power plant in the complex, El Bracho, was commissioned in October 2020.[12][13] The El Bracho plant has certifications for energy management (ISO 50001), quality management (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001), and occupational health & safety management (OHSAS 18001).[12] El Bracho receives natural gas from Troncal Norte Gas Pipeline,[14] which is part of the project site's campus.[15]
