Background on Project
As of 2013, China Datang and EDF Group are building a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 2,000 MW in Jiangxi Province. The plant is scheduled to be completed in 2015.
Plans for an additional two units, units 3-4 of 1,000 MW each, appear in the Jiangxi Province Development Plan of the Railway Economic Belt (2019-2025), released in October 2019.
