Daye Xinye Special Steel Co., Ltd. (大冶市新冶特钢有限责任公司) is a 500 thousand tonnes per annum (TTPA) blast furnace (BF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) steel plant operating in Huangshi, Hubei, China.

Background
According to the project capacity replacement plan announcement, it is constructed 1×1780m3 blast furnace, with a scheduled start date in 2019 and an production date in 2020. And in June 2021, 2×520m3 blast furnaces were phased out.[2]
Moreover, a 1×50 electric arc furnace is planned to be constructed, with an expected completion and production date in 2024, and 2×20t electric arc furnaces will be retired before the start of production.[3]
