Thessaloniki power station is an operating power station of at least 420-megawatts (MW) in Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as Energiaki Thessaloniki complex power station, Thessaloniki II.

Background

A 400 MW plant has operated at the site since 2005.[11]

In March 2021, Elpedison announced a tender for a new unit.[12][13] The project cost is expected to be around $449.94 million.[14]
