The pipeline will run from Xiongan New Area, Beijing to Cangzhou, Hebei Province, China.

Background

The pipeline project has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and will include a trunk and five branches. The project is estimated to cost $5.1 billion USD, be 2,291.7 kilometers in length, and provide 30 billion cubic meters per year capacity.

Phase I of the project was put into operations at the end of 2018.
