Background

The power station's first phase consists of 75-ton/hour circulating fluidized bed boilers (one of which is a backup boiler) and two 8.5-MW back-pressure steam turbines for power generation. The first phase of the project was put into operation at the end of December 2018.

The power station's second phase's EIA notice and social risk assessment were released March 2023. The unit was permitted in September 2023.
