Changsha power station (华电长沙二期气电调峰项目, 华电长沙电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1200-megawatts (MW) in Tongguan Circular Economy Industrial Park, Wangcheng District, Changsha, Hunan, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background
Changsha power station (Phase 1) is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,200 MW. The plant was completed in 2007, and is majority owned by China Huadian (70%) and Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group (30%).[11] Changsha power station phase 2 is a two-unit NG-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,000 MW. [12] It will be operated in 2023.[13]
