Background on Project
China Huaneng was planning to build a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 100 MW in Liaoning Province. The plant was scheduled to be completed in 2016.[2][3]
The project was permitted in January 2014,[4] and began construction in October 2014.[5]
Unit 1 was commissioned on March 6, 2017.[6] Unit 2 was commissioned on March 27, 2017.[7]
