Background
(This power plant is the re-located expansion project of Datang Huaibei power station).[1]
Huaibei Hushan power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,320 MW in Anhui Province.[2][3][4] The power plant is owned by Datang Huaibei Power Generation Co., Ltd. (大唐淮北发电有限责任公司) and has two 660 MW supercritical coal-fired units.[5][6] The project was approved in July 2010.[7] The plant was completed in November 2013, and was built by China Datang.[8][5][9][8] Construction was managed by a subsidiary of China Energy Engineering Group.[10]
