Background on Project
Inner Mongolia Asset Management Bureau has proposed a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 680 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The project was permitted in 2009, began construction in 2010, and was planned for operation in 2013.[2][3]
In 2014 it was reported that the project was delayed and construction would be accelerated.[4][5]
It was commissioned in 2015-2016.[6]
