Background
Beijing Energy Investment Holding and Shuangxin Energy Group have proposed a 2 x 350 MW power station. It was permitted in September 2015. The heat and electricity will mainly supply chemical production for Shuangxin Energy Group's Shuangxin Chemical Company.[2]
Construction began in October 2015.[3] It is planned for commissioning in December 2018.[4]
Planet satellite photos from July 2017 to April 2018 show construction is ongoing.
Unit 1 was commissioned in September 2019 and unit 2 in December 2019.[5]
