Kaifeng power station (国电投开封发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1260-megawatts (MW) in Tubaigang, Shunhe, Kaifeng, Henan, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 开封京源发电公司 (Phase II Unit 1, Phase II Unit 2), 国家电投开封发电厂 (Phase II Unit 1, Phase II Unit 2), 国家电投开封新力发电厂 (Phase I Xinli Unit 5), 国家电投开封京华发电厂 (Phase I Unit 3, Phase I Unit 4), 国家电投开封光明发电厂 (Phase I Unit 1, Phase I Unit 2).

Kaifeng-2
Kaifeng-2 power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,260 MW. The plant was completed between 2008 and 2009, and was originally owned by CPIC.[1]
Ownership
In July 2015, China Power Investment Corporation (CPI) and State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation (SNPTC) merged to become State Power Investment Corporation (国家电力投资集团), one of the five largest state-owned electricity producers in the People's Republic of China.[2]
