The India Ministry of Coal lists the Latchayapeta power station as a 600 megawatt (MW) coal plant proposed by NCS Sugars Ltd. in Andhra Pradesh.[1]

However, other sources say it is a 20MW cogeneration plant, including a 2.7MW coal-fired expansion of an existing 2.7 MW coal-fired plant.[2] NCS Sugars lists the commissioning of a 20 MW cogeneration plant on its website.[3]
