Dua FLNG Terminal, also known as PFLNG Dua, Sabah FLNG Terminal, and Rotan FLNG Project is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal operating in Malaysia.[1]

The terminal is located at the Rotan gas field in deepwater Block H, offshore Sabah, Malaysia.

Background

Dua FLNG Terminal is a floating LNG terminal in Sabah, Malaysia. It was planned for operation in 2018.[3]

The final investment decision for the project was made in February of 2014.[4] In May 2017 Petronas said the terminal will be operational in 2020.[5] In July 2019 it was reported that the terminal will be operational by Q1 2020.[6]

Dua FLNG Terminal started LNG production in February 2021.[2]
