Noreste (Escobedo) power station (Planta CC Iberdrola Escobedo (Noreste)) is an operating power station of at least 878-megawatts (MW) in Ciudad General Escobedo, Nuevo León, Mexico. It is also known as Escobedo, Iberdrola Energía Escobedo.

Background

Construction began on the Noreste power station in early 2016, with Iberdrola responsible for facility operation and maintenance in addition to being the owner.[7] The facility was completed in 2018.[8]
