Ku-Maloob-Zaap Field Oil Pipeline Network is an operating crude oil pipeline network in Mexico.

Location

The pipeline network gathers oil from the Ku, Maloob, and Zaap offshore fields, which are located 105 km north of Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche.

Undersea pipeline ruptures in Gulf of Mexico, causing sea to catch fire - July 2, 2021

The pipeline network includes 42 pipelines totaling 189km in length; it is owned and operated by Pemex.

The pipeline was involved in the creation of a subaquatic fireball due to a leak during July 2021. The fire was quickly contained, with no reported injuries.
