Background

In 2025, Aboitiz Upgrade Solar Inc. (AUSI) is constructing a solar facility within Republic norzagaray Cement Plant, under a long-term power purchase agreement. The project is schedule to complete in the later half of 2025, the ground-mounted solar project marks a milestone in integrating renewable energy into the cement plant. The goal is to enable operational saving and reduce emissions[2].
