Rongcheng Haoyang cogen power station (荣成昊阳热电) is an operating power station of at least 60-megawatts (MW) in Shidao Town, Rongcheng, Weihai, Shandong, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 石岛昊阳热电 (Unit 4), 荣成市人民政府石岛管理区热电联产PPP项目 (Unit 4), 荣成市人民政府石岛管理区热电联产PPP项目 (荣成昊阳热电) (Unit 2, Unit 3), 荣成昊阳热电 (Unit 4).

Background

Rongcheng Haoyang cogen power station is a three-unit coal-fired power station totaling 69 MW in Shidao Town, owned by Weihai Haoyang Group. It is a captive plant that powers a chemicals facility.[1]

The power station was approved by the Development and Reform Commission of Shandong Province in 2019. [2]

Units 1-2 (30 MW each) were commissioned in 2018 and Unit 3 (9 MW) in April 2019.[3][4]
