Fugu Guojiawan power station (郭家湾电厂二期2X660MW扩建项目, 神华神东电力郭家湾电厂) is an operating power station of at least 600-megawatts (MW) in Dachanghan Town, Fugu, Yulin, Shaanxi, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as Shenhua Fugu Guojiawan power station.

Background
The two existing waste coal-fired units of Fugu Guojiawan power station, totaling 600 MW, were brought online in 2010. The plant was originally owned by Shenhua Group.[3][4]
The expansion project launch meeting was held in October 2024[5]. County-level approvals were obtained by December 2024[6].
The project was included in the local government's key projects list for 2025[7]. A tender for a pre-feasibility study was issued in March 2025[8]. No further news was reported as of late 2025[9].
Ownership
On August 28, 2017, China's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) announced that China Guodian Corporation and Shenhua Group will be jointly restructured. Shenhua Group will become China National Energy Investment Group and will absorb China Guodian Corporation. It will be the largest power company in the world by installed capacity, as well as the world's largest coal producer.[10][11] The merger was completed on November 28, 2017.[12]
