Background
Siam Cement Kaeng Khoi Cement Plant is Siam Cement's fourth plant, the largest in Southeast Asia[3]. Oil and grease, raw materials, and cement products may contaminate cooling water discharged from the plant[3]. Contamination of groundwater and surface water may occur by leaks from the coal or lignite ash dumping site as well[3].
