Sichuan Dazhou Iron & Steel Group Co Ltd (四川省达州钢铁集团有限责任公司) is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Tongchun District, Sichuan, China.

Background
The main construction of the company Relocation and Upgrading Project has commenced, and the "New Dazhou Steel" is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2024. The project plans to have an annual production capacity of 2.428 million tons of iron, 2.3 million tons of crude steel, and 2.25 million tons of steel. The total planned investment is 15 billion yuan.[1][2]
The proposed capacity replacement project plans to build 2 blast furnaces(2x1340m3) and two basic oxygen furnaces(2x100-tonne) in Maliu Town, Dachuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province.It is expected to start production in December 2024 and eliminate the existing two blast furnaces (1x480m3, 1x1260m3) and two basic oxygen furnaces (2x120-tonne).[3]Construction started in June 2022.[4]
