Background

In 2015 Unit International began working on a proposal for a power plant in Iran.[3] In 2017 they contracted with SK E&C to construct 5 power plants in Iran, including Zahedan.[4]As of July 2021 there has not been news about the Zahedan plant proposal and it is assumed to be cancelled.
