The station comprises 13 units, built in five stages between 1997 and 2015.[1][2][3]

  • Unit 1 - 210 MW - 1987
  • Unit 2 - 210 MW - 1988
  • Unit 3 - 210 MW - 1989
  • Unit 4 - 210 MW - 1989
  • Unit 5 - 210 MW - 1990
  • Unit 6 - 210 MW - 1991

Stage II

  • Unit 7 - 500 MW - 1999
  • Unit 8 - 500 MW - 2000

Stage III

  • Unit 9 - 500 MW - 2006
  • Unit 10 - 500 MW - 2007

Stage IV[4]

  • Unit 11 - 500 MW - 2012
  • Unit 12 - 500 MW - 2013

Stage V

  • Unit 13 - 500 MW[5] - had a planned start date of 2016,[6] and was commissioned in August 2015.[3]
