Weixin power station (云南能投威信能源公司) is an operating power station of at least 1200-megawatts (MW) in Linfeng, Weixin, Zhaotong, Yunnan, China. It is also known as Weixing power station (Unit 2), 威信云投粤电扎西能源有限公司( (Unit 1).

Background

Weixin power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,200 MW in Yunnan Province. The plant was completed in 2012, and is majority-owned by Yunnan Energy investment Group.[1][2][3]
