Welspun Amla power station
The Welspun Mega Industrial & Energy Park is a proposed 1,320-megawatt coal-fired power station in Madhya Pradesh, India.
The map below shows Amla village, Betul district, the approximate location where the plant will be built.
A July 2011 Ministry of Coal summary of proposed coal projects identifies the park as one of several Welspun proposals that are pending applications for coal allocations.
As of August 2015 the power station has yet to receive environmental clearance.
