Background

The two-unit power station had a total original of 84 MW of capacity and was started up in 2006 by the Zhejiang Ji'an Paper Container Company.

In July 2020, two additional 35 MW units were reportedly announced at Zhejiang Ji'an Paper Container power station.

The new Unit 1 began operating in February 2023. The new Unit 2 began operating in December 2023.
