Zichang Waste Coal power station (延安市子长县煤矸石发电厂项目) is a proposed 700-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Shaanxi Province, China.
The map below shows the location of Zichang County, the approximate location where the plant would be built in Yan'an Prefecture, Shaanxi Province.
Background on Project
In 2015 the Shaanxi provincial government again tried to generate interest for bidders to construct a power station in Zichang County, this time 700 MW (2 x 350 MW).
As of January 2018 no bidders have committed to the project, and it appears to be abandoned.
