Background

Vissai Do Luong Cement Plant adopted and invested in waste heat recovery power generation technology during the construction of the cement plant. The recovered heat generates steam, which powers turbines to produce electricity for the plant's operations. Do Luong Cement Plant also has a very modern electrostatic precipitator with a dust filtration efficiency of up to 98.8%, so the amount of dust released into the environment is almost non-existent. The amount of dust recovered is then returned to the production process to help the factory save production costs. The plant launched a solar power generation system in May 2024, using rooftop space in raw material warehouses and generating an average of 170 MWh per month.
