Background
According to the announcement of the capacity replacement plan for the blast furnace upgrade and renovation project in October 2022, the company plans to build a 1250m3 blast furnace (with a production capacity of 1.15 million tons), and phase out the existing 616m3 blast furnace, which is expected to be put into operation in December 2024.[1]
