Xinjiang Kingtec Steel Co Ltd (新疆金特钢铁股份有限公司, 新疆和钢钢铁股份有限公司), also known as Xinjiang Kingtec Hegang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., is a steel plant in Bailuntai, Hejing, Bayingolin AP, Xinjiang, China that operates blast furnace (BF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) technology.

Background
The predecessor of the Xinjiang Kingtec Steel Co. plant, which was called the Xinjiang Hejing Iron and Steel plant, was declared bankrupt by the Hejing County Court in 2002. In 2004, it was acquired and reorganized by Guangdong Nanhai Kingtec Building Materials Group to establish Kingtec Hegang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. In April 2007, Xinjiang Kingtec Hegang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. cooperated with the central enterprise Xinxing Cathay International Group (formerly Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes) to establish Xinjiang Kingtec Steel Co., Ltd.[1]
