Hebei Baoxin Iron and Steel Group Co Ltd (峰峰矿区宝信物资有限责任公司, 河北宝信钢铁有限公司, 河北宝信钢铁集团有限公司, 峰峰矿区宝信钢铁有限公司), also known as Fengfeng Mining Area Baoxin Steel Co., Ltd., Hebei Baoxin Steel Co., Ltd., Fengfeng Mining Area Baoxin Materials Co., Ltd., is a steel plant in Handan, Hebei, China that operates basic oxygen furnace (BOF) and blast furnace (BF) technology.

Background

The existing production facilities of Hebei Baoxin Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Fengfeng Mining District Hexin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., and Handan Fengfeng Hengfengshun Cast Pipe Co., Ltd. were eliminated, integrated into the industrial park for reduction and upgrading. Hebei Baoxin Iron and Steel Group was renamed Hebei Huaxin Special Steel Co., Ltd.[1]

According to the announcement issued by the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology on June 17, 2021, all the company's steelmaking equipment has been dismantled.[2]
