煤矿背景
国能包头能源有限责任公司李家壕煤矿于2008年11月获国家发展改革委核准，建设规模600万吨/年，配套建设相应规模选煤厂。[12] 该矿于2014年正式投产。[1]2023年，该矿产能由600万吨/年核增至800万吨/年。[3]2025年10月底，该矿通过了内蒙古自治区能源局验收，被评定为中级智能化井工煤矿。[1]
该矿的主要产品为动力煤。[13]
2023年6月22日，该矿发生一起高处坠落事故，1名施工人员死亡。 [14]
