Background
In December 2021, two quantum electric furnaces （100% scrap steel Electric arc furnace (EAF) + Electrostatic precipitator (ESP)）were put into production.[1][2]
There is a public announcement of the ironmaking capacity transfer program that the company plans to build 1×1580m3 blast furnace in 2019.[3]But no further info related about this BF, the project is likely already canceled, as the factory has stated that ”they have completely scrapped the processes of blast furnace, BOF, continuous casting, and heating furnace.[2]“
The company illegally used approximately 1.11 hectares of sea area and has been reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources in 2021.[4]
