煤矿背景
陕西小保当矿业有限公司二号井于2013年12月开工建设，2020年11月建成，陕西省发展改革委对小保当二号煤矿联合试运转进行备案，设计生产能力为规模为1300万吨/年。[11]2022年2月通过竣工验收，进入生产矿井序列。[2]
该矿所产煤炭主要用作动力煤和化工用煤。其煤炭经过矿区铁路、包头-西安的铁路运至陕煤集团在榆神工业区清水煤化工业园的煤化工企业及陕南、河南、湖北等中南地区。[6]通过从内蒙古鄂尔多斯到江西省吉安市的浩吉铁路，该矿还把其煤炭运送到湖北、湖南、江西的用户，其中包括华能武汉发电有限责任公司。[12]
